Full truckload

Full truckload freight with capacity that holds

Point-to-point truckload moves planned against the delivery window — on owned equipment where it fits, on vetted carriers where it does not.

Truckload pricing is easy to quote and hard to hold. A rate that looked good in October means very little if the equipment is not there in November. AppiaWay prices truckload against a committed asset base first and a vetted carrier network second, so a lane that is covered stays covered when the spot market moves.

Why this is not just another broker. A pure broker has nothing to fall back on when capacity tightens — it re-bids your load and hopes. AppiaWay starts from the owned fleet of a 55-year asset-based operator and reaches into the carrier network for what the assets cannot cover. You can see which is which on your own reporting.

Need the warehouse as well as the truck? That side runs through Regal Logistics — same company, same platform, one invoice.

What is covered

How a truckload move gets built

01

Dry van truckload

Regional and long-haul dry van moves across the lower 48. Loads originating in our own buildings are built, sealed and tendered by the same operation that loads them, which removes the usual argument about what was on the trailer.

  • Regional and long-haul dry van
  • Sealed-load and high-value handling
  • Multi-stop and multi-pick routing
  • Team service on time-critical lanes
02

Drop trailer and live load

Drop-and-hook programs where volume and dock capacity justify pre-positioned equipment, live load where they do not. Drop trailer is usually the cheapest way to buy dock time back on a recurring lane.

  • Drop-and-hook programs
  • Live load and live unload
  • Trailer pools on committed lanes
03

Retail delivery windows

Retail receiving appointments are the constraint that actually sets the schedule. Loads are planned backwards from the window, with the appointment booked and the paperwork prepared before the truck rolls.

  • Delivery appointment scheduling
  • Direct-to-store and direct-to-DC
  • Proof of delivery and receipt reconciliation
  • Detention and late-window exception handling

Carrier qualification

Every carrier that hauls under our authority is verified on operating authority, insurance and safety record before it moves freight, and monitored afterwards. Brokered does not mean unvetted.

  • Authority and insurance verification
  • Safety rating monitoring
  • Contracted carrier agreements
  • Cargo and liability coverage confirmation
05

Committed lane pricing

For recurring volume, lanes can be priced on commitment rather than quoted per load. Committed lanes are the ones that stay covered in a tight market, because the capacity is already allocated.

  • Committed lane rates on recurring volume
  • Spot pricing where volume is irregular
  • Volume-based capacity planning
  • Seasonal and peak pre-booking

Common questions

What is the difference between FTL and LTL?

Full truckload uses the whole trailer for one shipment and moves direct. LTL shares the trailer with other freight and passes through terminals. Truckload is faster and handled less; LTL is cheaper when you cannot fill a trailer.

Do you own your own trucks?

AppiaWay is the brokerage arm of Regal Logistics, which owns its fleet and its warehouses. Moves run on owned equipment where that fits and on vetted carrier capacity where it does not, and the distinction is visible on your reporting.

What areas do you cover?

Core coverage runs out of the Pacific Northwest, Southern California and the Southeast, with the carrier network extending to the lower 48.

Can you handle retail delivery appointments?

Yes. Appointments are booked as part of the move, with proof of delivery and receipt reconciliation returned to you.

How do you price truckload?

Recurring volume can be priced on committed lanes; irregular volume is quoted per load. Committed lanes are the ones that hold when the market tightens.
